Hello new and old MUUC Members!!

Hope everyone had fun at the BBQ last night!!

[Diving]

This weekend, a few members have shown an interest in diving.
Kathryn
David S.
Erik
Luke

Erik wants to do a scallop dive on Saturday, therefore, if anyone wants to get down to collect really yummy dinner, let Erik know, and see if he can fill a boat.

On Sunday, if the weather holds up, I would be interested in doing a shore dive at Flinders. I need to try out my drysuit, so if anyone else wants to play around Flinders, let me know! The shore dive would be a GREAT opportunity for new members to get used to our gear, the water here, and to figure out weighting.

Post here if interested: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2106

Remember- new members should first do a shore dive before getting on the boat, just for safety purposes, we want you to get used to the gear and the system in a more relaxed environment.

Moreton Island Marine Park Liveaboard:
NEXT WEEKEND AUGUST 6-8th, MUUC members Kathryn, Luke, Kelly, Nicky, and Julian are headed to Moreton Island Marine Park for a 2 day weekend liveaboard. Since it is winter time, we are only paying $440 for all accommodation, all meals, all airfills, and 8 dives. It is also humpback whale season, and there have already been sightings of humpbacks while diving! We are so excited to be going!! Big Cat said there are still a few spots on the boat, so if anyone wants to jump on board last minute, call Kathryn 0447010107.

Post interest here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2081
